Fayetteville State’s Bronco STAR (Supporting Transition, Access and Retention) program was recently featured on Philadelphia’s WURD radio station. Executive Director, Andrea Neal, was the special guest for the program’ s “Health Talk” segment and spent about 20 minutes discussing various aspects of Bronco STAR. Ms. Neal spoke on the success of students with learning differences (LD) at FSU and offered insight to resources to help others with LD. Neal stated, “It was truly an opportunity to educate listeners on the benefits of a program like Bronco STAR and introduce them to the greatness already happening at FSU.”
STAR is focused on providing support for students who, in the past, have slipped through the cracks of the education system even though they are capable of college success.
